Love How You Feel is a way of life.
It’s how I went from depression, anxiety, and lack of motivation to happiness, contentment, joyful relationships, dreaming big, and achieving bigger.
Once upon a time I was an elementary school teacher.
I graduated university and teachers college at the top of my class, had a great circle of friends, and took care of myself in ways that kept me well. At least a version of well that I was content with.
Enter my first child.
Postpartum Depression hit hard. Sleep deprivation, life turned upside down, isolated, lost, and in survival mode, I didn’t know who I was anymore. Where once I was showered, dressed well, respected, productive, and high achieving, now I was smelly, greasy, emotional, overwhelmed, wearing sweatpants from last week, and a shirt that probably had spit up on it. Career gone, personal hygiene gone, emotional stability gone, friends gone.
I lost myself.
Motherhood ate me up and spit me out.
I wanted out.
Fast forward fourteen years.
I have two teenagers, a wonderful husband (yes, the same one) a house, a car, and a wonderful career. I am happy, stable, excited about life. Yes, even in the middle of a global pandemic.
Along the way, I have had many ups and downs, and have collected an immense toolbox of tips, tricks, hacks, and information that I want to share with you.
Because no one should live in misery.
There is a better way.
Take my hand, and we will go together.
